Stage 4 and 8 sales at Eliza Ponds have skyrocketed buoyed by the Federal and State Governments’ initiatives as part of the economic response to COVID-19.
Since the relief measures were announced last month enquiries at Eliza Ponds have reached unprecedented levels.
This has resulted in 16 lots under contract in June and according to Sales Representative Tom Prout he expects more to be signed in the coming weeks.

“The enquiry level on the back of the government grants has been amazing,” Tom said. “We saw some good signs in the sector just before COVID hit and now with WA back open to almost ‘business as usual’ it’s great to see confidence return to the market.”
“The majority of our buyers are first home buyers and come from a 10km radius of Eliza Ponds. They love the area and the location with many growing up here as kids,” he said.
“They love what Eliza Ponds has to offer and with Stage 4 and Stage 8 selling fast my advice to anyone considering buying is to get in quick.”
This sales trend is consistent with data released by REIWA with President Damian Collins saying it’s clear the recent Federal and State Government building bonus grants have boosted transactions last month.
“reiwa.com data shows there were 3,990 sales transactions in June, with 1,471 of those land sales (up 289 per cent),” Mr Collins said.
“The large spike that we have seen in land transactions can be attributed to people fearing that they may miss out on these grants. There is a real possibility that we will run out of titled and completed blocks in the coming months.”
